Roberta Mameli soprano
Roberta Mameli is regularly invited to perform at the most important opera theatres, including Berlin, Florence, Barcelona, or Torino. She collaborates with conductors such as Jordi Savall, Fabio Biondi, Claudio Abbado, Ottavio Dantone, Ton Koopmann, Leonardo García Alarcón, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, and Jeffrey Tate. Much in demand for early music repertoire, she works with several ensembles using period instruments.
Roberta has had great personal success singing the title role in L’incoronazione di Poppea under Diego Fasolis at the Staatsoper Berlin. Also under Fasolis, she was Arminda in La Scala’s production of La finta giardiniera for the Shanghai Grand Theatre.
Her solo album “Anime Amanti” was awarded the Diapason d’Or. Recent and future projects include Handel’s Agrippina (Poppea) in Drottningholm, Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito (Vitellia) at the Angers Nantes Opéra and Giuseppe Scarlatti’s I portentosi effetti della madre natura (Ruspolina) in Potsdam and Bayreuth.
