HATHOR CONSORT: Erató & Caritas

The renowned Flemish ensemble Hathor Consort, founded by Austrian gambist and artistic director Romina Lischka in 2012 and named after the Egyptian mother goddess, performed works by late Renaissance and early Baroque composers.

The outstanding soprano Hannah Morrison shone with her soprano in the beautiful setting of Prague's Troja Château.

The musicality and playing skills of all artists were great and brought very impressive moments.

Among all, one can remember Giovanni Pessi's harpsichord performance of Kapsberger's Toccata arpeggiata "interrupted" by outdoor bird song, or Romina Lischka's virtuoso (yet soulful) playing in the second half of the program.
