In the heat of the July sun, the Summer Festivities of Early Music melted into a Spanish fiesta, full of unbound merrymaking and springy rhythms called the zarambeque. The energetic music of the 17^th and 18^th century was revived by the Spanish ensemble Armoniosi Concerti led by the guitar, vihuela and theorbo player Juan Carlos Rivera and the soprano María Espada. The renaissance Hvězda Summer Pavillion  – Estrella in Spanish – resounded for the first time in its long history with arias, tonos or instrumental compositions by Santiago de Murzia and Juan Hidalgo, to name just a few.
