The concert in the Dvořák Hall of Rudolfinum proved to be a unique experience. The main protagonist of the evening was the Dutch bass singer Peter Kooij, a specialist on the vocal works of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries. Accompanied by the ensemble in residence Collegium Marianum with international guests Kooij performed compositions by the Dresden author of church music and one of the most famous musicians of his times Jan Dismas Zelenka who started his career in Prague, vocal music by Antonio Vivaldi, and works by another Venetian baroque master Antonio Lotti who worked in Dresden for two years and met there with Zelenka. The highlight of the programme was Bach‘s spiritual cantata “Ich habe genug“.
