Every city, every country has its typical sound image. Apart from birdsong and the hooting of cars it is composed of the ringing of bells. Some of the Prague bells featured in the performance of the Holland carillonist Boudewijn Zwart. The Prague Loretta around which many legends have been woven was filled with music by Sweelinck, Steenwick and improvised music in baroque style performed on the carillon. Two hours later on the Strahov courtyard Boudewijn Zwart introduced his unique travelling carillon of 2800 kilos and 50 bronze bells.
