Several programmes of the 9^th Summer Festivities of Early Music were enriched by French flavour. One of those occasions was the opening concert at the Troja Chateau on the outskirts of Prague. The eminent French ensemble Stradivaria among whose prerogatives counts perfect ensemble playing and unique timbre of string instruments appeared with its leader, the violinist Danielem Cuiller in works by François Couperin, Marin Marais and Jean-Philipp Rameau.
