Talenti Vulcanici
The Talenti Vulcanici ensemble was founded in 2011, drawing on the 20 years of experience of the Fondazione Pietà de’ Turchini, a pioneer in introducing Neapolitan audiences to mostly unknown or forgotten musical repertoires performed by renowned artists from across Europe.
The ensemble is regularly involved in the concert seasons of the Fondazione Pietà de’ Turchini in Naples but has also managed to attract the interest of many national and international festivals and institutions by taking part in their programmes, for example, Oude Muziek Utrecht, the Alessandro Stradella Baroque Festival, the Stockholm Early Music Festival and others.
In 2019, Talenti Vulcanici was awarded the XXXIX Franco Abbiati Music Critics Prize in the category the Best Musical Initiative of the Year. Since 2021, its audiovisual productions have been broadcast on the national and international digital platforms RaiPlay and Stingray Classica, the TV channels Rai 5 and Sky Classica HD, and the radio channel Rai Radio 3.
